    On my visit 1/16/25, I was asked by the assistant which medication I was taking. I advised that one of them was over the counter Elderberry that was prescribed by Devi on a previous sick visit. Devi told me to by over counter and and in few months we would do blood test again. While waiting for doctor Devi I hear he doctor telling the assistant that she would never prescribe that medication. When she came inside the room I told her that I overheard her conversation and that I was by aware of that medication until she prescribed it to me. We went back and forth various times because she refused to admit it. Actually I was very concerned that this happened because Im now worried that she would do this again with a different medication. While we continued the visit, we discussed my blood pressure and she told me Its probably high because youre mad. I was not mad but extremely concerned with a doctor whos denying prescribing me a medication

    Dr. Devi is a great PCP! This visit was a follow-up to a ER visit/hospital stay for Influenza A. She always addresses my health concerns and takes appropriate action to improve my health.

    • Dr. Gayathri Mohanachandran is a board-certified internal medicine physician serving the Wesley Chapel area as part of BayCare Medical Group, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She received her medical degree from Medical College Thiruvananthapuram in Thiruvananthapuram, India. Dr. Devi then continued her medical education by completing an internal medicine residency at Providence Hospital affiliated with George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC.

      Dr. Mohanachandran prefers to get to know her patients during their wellness and illness and provide tailored medical care to each one of them. Honest conversations between her and the patient goes a long way. She likes to treat the person as a whole, and more than just the disease and aids in timely preventive interventions. She is the true advocate for the patient, with a passion for primary care, teaching, and delivering the highest quality, evidence-based care to her patients.
