Gabriela S. Lopez Cohen, MD

Dr. Gabriela Lopez Cohen is board certified in family medicine and is a member of BayCare Medical Group in Haines City, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and completed a family medicine residency at BronxCare Health System/Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in the Bronx, New York.

Dr. Lopez Cohen’s clinical interests include women’s health and chronic issues such as hypertension, diabetes, osteoarthritis, obesity and thyroid issues. She provides her patients with the latest health management and treatment plans, based on personal and family health histories. Dr. Lopez Cohen builds personal relationships with her patients to help them achieve their healthy lifestyle goals. She’s certified in advanced cardiac life support, basic life support and pediatric advanced life support. Dr. Lopez Cohen is fluent in Spanish.
