The provider is amazing!

Dr. Layton is absolutely exceptional! He is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything in a way thats easy to understand. He made sure I fully understood my childs illness, clearly walked me through the treatment plan, and provided precise instructions for the medication. Beyond his expertise, he builds genuine trust with parents and connects beautifully with kids, theyre actually excited to go to the doctors office because of him! His professionalism, compassion, and skill make him truly outstanding.

This experience was exceeded my expectations, he touched on every safe and preventive care. He engaged with my children x2 . I was amazed how thorough and passionate was toward the kids.

The provider wasnt our usual preferred provider. The info presented and questions I had were acknowledged but immediately dismissed, with no explanation given.

I didnt like this doctor. He has no bedside manner for a toddler and was dismissive.

Dr Layton speaks very aggressively. He was not rude per se, but his delivery is very loud and forceful. It made me feel unheard and spoken AT and not spoken WITH regarding my childs care. I dont feel like he gave me ideas or strategies for a plan of care, just his one and only method, despite my stating thats not what I wanted to do. I felt spoken over much of the time. WE WERE ALSO WAITING OVER AN HOUR FOR HIM, then he rushes out of our appt without asking if I had final questions after delivering (what felt like) a monologue.

He was extremely thorough and listened to my concern with compassion and understanding

Kind doctor, took time to explain and write down instructions, my daughter engaged with him which was great (shes normally shy)

My sons LPN Lydia Strickhouser and PCP Kimberly Smoak are amazing!!!!!! The new provider my son saw was not so great. He was very opinionated regarding my son being on the spectrum he noticed my son was I. The middle of stimming and had a tantrum because I wouldnt let my son touch something he was supposed to and my son hit me. My son is not verbal. After the provider saw that he took it upon himself to physically pick up my son and put him in the corner. He then told me growing forward that if he continues this behavior to isolate my 2 year old son in a separate room with the door closed. He asked how well does my son do with food and I told him his has some sensory issues so hes picky. He told me to cook whatever I wanted and that if my son doesnt want to eat what I make to not feed him until hes ready to only eat what I have prepared. He said that parents think that just because children have autism we think that our children can run us. Super unprofessional. I have NEVER had this experience with anyone at the office until him. I will never recommend this doctor to anyone ever.

Very thorough and explained multiple care options

I do not have anything good to say about Dr Layton. He is rude, inconsiderate and a he-thinks-he-knows-it-all. I will never allow my children to be seen by him again. What I choose for my children is what I feel is best for them and he could use a lesson in respecting a parents wishes.

Was very happy to see a physician who communicates well with kids and also provide understandable information to me as a parent. Dr. Layton also provided great dad jokes that my kids truly enjoyed.

The Dr. Was very sweet, a great listener, and even gave my kiddos a talk about how much iPad time is recommended and encouraged them to be nice to their sister. Hes an amazing doctor.

My son LOVES Dr. Layton. He has health issues and most doctors dont try and talk to him or get through to him and act like he is one of a number that they see. That usually makes him very apprehensive about going to the dr and not feeling heard. Now he wants to see Dr. Layton and says that he gets him and wants to see him. That is a 1st for him and he is 12. We love Dr. Layton.

The doctor wouldnt actually listen. Instead he stated what he does with his child also proceeded to show me images on his laptop. He made several comments that were rude and a bit shocking to my baby, one of which was I dont want to have to gag you. He was actually our first pediatrician in the United States since were dual, but I honestly would rather fly back out the country to her normal pediatrician then to have him again. Oh and he didnt resolve anything.

Very blunt. Didnt really talk or ask my feelings on vaccinating for flu. Just stated child would be receiving that today. Liked other Dr. approach better. I would continue with care with him but the location is too far away.

Dr Layton was great! Very professional yet cordial. Great patient/doctor manner. Loved him.
