Emma Cauwenberghs is a certified acute care advanced practice registered nurse with BayCare Medical Group, serving the Tampa, Florida community where she sees patients age 18 and older. She received her Master's of Science in nursing from Grand Canyon University, and she is credentialed by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
Emma started her career with BayCare as a surgical technician in the operating room and spent the last thirteen years as a critical care nurse, caring for complex patients in the cardiovascular intensive care unit (ICU). She prides herself on her ability to treat patients with kindness and empathy. Her passion for surgical patients of all specialties makes her transition to the trauma and general surgery team that much more exciting.
