Dr. Emily Johnson-Day specializes in family medicine and is with BayCare Medical Group in Lithia, Florida, where she sees patients age 12 and older. She earned a Master of Medical Science degree, followed by a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, and completed a family medicine residency, as chief resident, at the University of South Carolina Prisma Health in Columbia, South Carolina. Dr. Johnson-Day’s clinical interests include preventive care, weight loss, geriatric care and management of chronic diseases such as diabetes. She performs annual physical exams and health screenings. Dr. Johnson-Day listens to her patients’ needs and concerns and works with them to prepare individualized treatment plans that meet their health care goals.
