Dr. Saunders is AWESOME! Upon seeing me wearing a mask (when I dont wear one out in public, I always wind up sick the entire week after Ive been out), she offered to mask up as well. I told her she didnt need to, that I was just being overly cautious due to past experiences, but she felt if it was important enough for me to choose to wear one, she would as well. Thats probably the nicest thing a doctor has ever done for me. I had several forms that I had been waiting months to get signed due to the whole BayCare doctor debacle in the office near Morton Plant, yet she still managed to fill them all out AND speak with me about my medical history and concerns. Due to the limited nature of a new patient visit, she scheduled an additional appointment for me so we could talk more about trying to get to the bottom of what things were causing my 30 years of CFS/Fibro, which was made worse by a stint with Long Haul COVID. Shes got a LOT to unpack with my condition, and there may not be anything she can do, but each new pair of eyes on the situation helps. Im looking forward to her investigative process in hopes that there may be something she can identify that can help with my situation. I was also very pleased that she offered to try to get the process for getting a scooter for me going even though it is a hard sell these days to get insurance to cover it. Unfortunately, the ability to have one that I thought I had, by being able to move to a first-floor apartment, I found out will probably not occur, as the apartment complex is now unwilling to put an ADA shower in the apartment. It is very telling when a doctor is willing to go to bat for you regarding your medical conditions and trying to make your life easier when you face as many physical challenges as I do. She is a REALLY good doctor.

Dr. Saunders is kind and thorough. She was engaged and listened. Never felt rushed.

Not much advice given regarding issue I was having and notes had incorrect information from what I told her. I appreciate her willingness to order labs/ refer out if needed, but it would be nice to get some usual advice or guidance from my actual PCP. She is nice, but doesnt have much to offer in the way of expertise or explaining things.

I really appreciate Dr Saunders kindness and attention to my concerns. I havent had much luck finding a proactive PCP who sees the Dr/patient relationship as a partnership to maintain my health and head off issues before they become a crisis.
