Dr. Elizabeth Carson is board certified in family medicine. She completed dual undergraduate degrees in zoology and microbiology/cell science from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida where, she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, West Indies and graduated with highest honors. Dr. Carson continued her medical education by completing a family medicine residency with Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida where she received the Resident Teacher Award.
Dr. Carson is part of BayCare Medical Group and serves the Safety Harbor community, where she sees patients age 18 and older. Her interests include women’s health, preventive medicine and migraine management. She is dedicated to providing whole-person care that heals your body, strengthens your mind and lifts your spirit. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Florida Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Carson was born in St. Petersburg and raised in Tarpon Springs.
