    • Dr. Eirik Svennevik is board certified in general surgery and sees patients age 18 and older, as part of the BayCare Medical Group in Safety Harbor, Florida. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida and continued his medical education by completing a general surgery residency at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Svennevik’s primary focus is on acute and elective general surgery, including abdomen and digestive disorders (stomach, small and large intestine, anorectal disease), hernia, gallbladder, breast and skin and soft tissue disorders. He utilizes minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgery techniques, as well as open procedures. He is a member of the American Board of Surgery, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, the American Hernia Society and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is affiliated with Mease Countryside Hospital.
