Dr. Eftechios Xanthoudakis is board certified in general surgery and is with BayCare Medical Group in Bartow, Florida, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Florida State University College of Medicine in Tallahassee, Florida, followed by a general surgery residency at the Brody School of Medicine/East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, and he completed a MIS/bariatric fellowship at Jackson South Medical Center in Miami, Florida. Dr. Xanthoudakis focuses on organs in the abdominal cavity, including the stomach and colon, and he specializes in the use of laparoscopic and robotic surgeries for the foregut, hernia, colon and bariatrics. He works with his patients to develop specific courses of treatment and keeps an open line of communications with them and their families. Dr. Xanthoudakis is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. He’s affiliated with Bartow Regional Medical Center. Dr. Xanthoudakis is fluent in Greek.
