Edward M. Fabelo, II MD

Dr. Edward Fabello is board certified in nephrology and serves the St. Petersburg, Florida area as part of BayCare Medical Group, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Universidad Iberoamericana School of Medicine in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He continued his medical education by completing an internal medicine residency at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Fabello then completed a nephrology fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia.

Dr. Fabelo works in a research setting and explores ways to improve patient care that will help them feel better and live longer. He believes in providing compassionate and comprehensive patient-centered care. Dr. Fabelo is a patient-focused provider who places an emphasis on building relationships with his patients and works towards creating a personalized treatment plan. His clinical interests include the kidney, treating such ailments as hypertension (high blood pressure), kidney stones and kidney failure. He is affiliated with St. Anthony's Hospital.
