Doctor Bio
Dr. Don Eslin is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric hematology-oncology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Dr. Eslin continued his medical education by completing a pediatric residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Women in Orlando, Florida. He followed that with a fellowship in pediatric hematology and oncology from the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Eslin is a National Research Fellowship award winner from the prestigious Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. He has been awarded numerus grants for pediatric cancer research. Dr. Eslin has a background in medical academics, having served as a clinical associate professor of pediatrics at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida and an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. He has published extensively in the area of pediatric oncology and has a special interest in new drug development. He is a member of the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, American Academy of Pediatrics, the Children’s Oncology Group and Central Florida Pediatric Society. Dr. Eslin is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital.
