Dr. Patel seemed rushed that particular day - the office seemed busy. She normally spends more time with me.

Dr. Patel listened to a concern I had, asked follow up questions. Dr Patel asked questions about a similar issue from earlier this year. Dr Patel then diagnosed the condition and put me on a regimen that has already improved the condition. She cares about her patients and shes very knowledgeable.

Im 68 years old and even as a child I cant remember being talk down to the way I was. I had two issues when I entered and fortunately at least one was addressed. They got me in and out efficiently but when It was all over, I was just a number.

Dr. Patel is efficient. I like how she asks me, What else I feel like she cares about me as a whole person even though she is quick, in how she talks and moves from patient to patient. I feel as though she is in a hurry because a lot of people demand her time, but I dont feel neglected in any way! She is great!

Dr. Patel seemed a bit rushed and like she maybe wanted to jump to conclusions quickly. In some ways I did appreciate her being forward and speaking her mind, but I wasnt sure if she was listening to me. I was a little confused about next steps other than Im supposed to come back for the second dose of the shingles vaccine in August. She did give me an order for a mammogram and a heart ct calcium scan. I set both of those up easilly through the Baycare scheduling number she gave me, which was great. She had me fill out a survery for additonal genetic testing because of my family history for cancer, but I hadnt finished when I left, and I guess we are going to follow up on that at the next appointment. She also gave me paperwork that says future order, and Im honestly not sure what Im supposed to do with that.

In the final report put on my records, the dr wrote that I said I have no family history of breast cancer which is very clearly in my records not true. It wasnt even brought up during my appointment. I felt rushed through the appointment due to the dr running late that morning (I was her 2nd appointment- there should be no reason she was rushing at that point)

My blood pressure was high when taken with the nurse. Then the doctor came in and saw my high blood pressure. After only asking a few questions about my lifestyle (this was my first time visiting), she explained that due to my high blood pressure, I need to switch to a plant based diet. My blood pressure was never taken again with the doctor, and she had no blood work from me. She also explained that I need to go on a prenatal vitamin even though Im not currently planning on getting pregnant. Doctor didnt seem to really think/discuss through options with me based on my health or even waiting to look deeper once I got my bloodwork done to discuss my health.

Not responding in a timely manner for a prescription refill. I had to request three times.

Patel is thoughtful and exceedingly well-prepared. She is fairly intelligent, however nowhere near my own level.

The first impression with this provider was really bad. The physician came to the room did no eye contact and jumped to why are you here. She was rude and with little to no bedside manners. Her physical exam lasted a total of 1 minute (possibly less). She had no interested in listening to my concerns and had no opinions. She didnt ask about age related screening or needs. I came out more confused.
