Doctor Bio
Dr. Diana Lone is board certified in pediatrics. She sees patients from newborn to age 18 as part of BayCare Medical Group in Tampa, Florida. She completed her undergraduate degree in molecular and cellular biology and psychology from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. She then earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University/Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. Dr. Lone continued her medical education by completing an internship and residency in pediatrics from Advocate Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. She then completed a clinical fellowship in pediatric hematology, oncology and bone marrow transplant from the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dr. Lone loves caring for children in an inpatient or outpatient setting. She is most passionate about treating children with leukemia and lymphomas. She has been involved in clinical research focused on late effects experienced by childhood cancer survivors. Dr. Lone performs medical diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions affecting children and young adults. She is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research, the American Society of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Children’s Oncology Group. Dr. Lone is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital.
