Dr. David Mason is board certified in colon and rectal surgery and general surgery and is with BayCare Medical Group in Tampa, Florida, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida, completed a general surgery internship and chief residency at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, a Yale University School of Medicine affiliate in New Haven, Connecticut, and finished a colon and rectal surgery fellowship at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson, Maryland. Dr. Mason specializes in general, robotic and colorectal surgery, with clinical interests in rectal cancer, colon cancer, abdominal wall and inguinal hernias, and diseases of the anus and rectum. He’s double board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Dr. Mason is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital.
