    • David Evans, MD, is board certified in general and thoracic surgery. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. He then completed his Doctor of Medicine degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. He then completed a general surgery internship and residency at Indiana University Hospitals in Indianapolis. Dr. Evans then completed a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at Indiana University Hospitals. Dr. Evan’s clinical interests include minimally invasive cardiac and thoracic surgical techniques and technology. In addition to being a lecturer and presenter of minimally invasive cardiac surgery techniques on both a national and international level, Dr. Evans has been involved in the development and management of a number of recognized cardiac surgical programs.
