Dr. Dane Maxfield is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine and is with BayCare Medical Group in Largo, Florida, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, completed an internal medicine residency at Doctors Hospital-Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and fulfilled a fellowship in gastroenterology from Ohio State University, in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Maxfield’s clinical interests include pancreatic disease and esophageal disorders. He treats abdominal pain, duodenitis and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Dr. Maxfield is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists, the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the Pinellas County Osteopathic Medical Society. He’s affiliated with Morton Plant Hospital. Dr. Maxfield is fluent in Spanish.
