He was professional and did his job well

The doctor spent 15 minutes with me and said he was ordering one test to look at my heart. He ordered 4! He wanted to put me on a new medication-one that is mostly used for diabetics-which I am not. Didnt mention the expense! $141

He has my confidence in how Im being treated with both advice and medication.

He prescribed a cholesterol-lowering drug not covered by my insurance. I told him that it wasnt covered by leaving a message with a staff member, and asked if I could take the pill that my husband takes which has been effective. His nurse called me and said he wanted me to take a twice -monthly injection! As a retired RN who has no previous history with this drug category I dont think that jumping to an injection is a logical first step! Consequently, I refused and repeated my request for the pill my husband takes. She called back and said that was fine. I am not impressed.

I truly enjoy seeing Dr Sodano. He takes great care of me.

This was my first visit with Dr. Sodano. He was thorough and explained the tests he was ordering and scheduled a follow-up visit in 6-months.

Very pleasant, but also very rushed. He may have known the ins and outs of hearts, but did not. I felt he had already had a determination before seeing me and just wanted to move on to someone else. He said he would order a blood test but didnt until the scheduler chased him down after he saw the next patient.

The most pleasant doctor (even though I dont believe in pharmaceuticals) he was a joy to discuss my tests with.

Dr came in smiling reaching out his hand to shakes hands. That first communication was important. He was very kind and caring and gets right to the point. Within 5 minutes he had a new plan for me. Very excited to get rid of this AFib.

As an older patient, I wanted more information about the risks and benefits of the 3 total prescriptions he wants me to take for high blood pressure and diastolic heart dysfunction. I didnt receive Much clarification and will need to call the pharmacy prior to taking these extra 2 medications. I have fallen due to dizziness in the past and the 3 blood pressure medicines prescribed are likely to make me dizzy and I dont want to fall. Id like a discussion with a healthcare provider that will answer my concerns and Im very conservative when it comes to taking Rxs.

We had a good, informative, and friendly conversation. I appreciated it that he recognized that I take interest in my own condition and care and we were able to discuss them intelligently.

He is always so attentive, and listens to my concerns, explaining everything thoroughly and clearly, which makes me very comfortable and confident I am getting the best care.
