The doctor comes in with everything written on a pad of paper. If you ask something that is not on the paper he has to leave the room to find the answer. Why doesnt bring in the lap top with all my info on it

Dr Pulcifer is a genuinely good doctor and listens and cares about your wellbeing. He is thorough and orders the necessary test needed for a proper diagnosis. He will also call you after hours to go over anything concerning. He really cares about his patients.

Ive been a BayCare patient for five years, but my recent visit with was disappointing. Despite having access to my medical history, he clearly hadnt reviewed it. The exam was rushed, and the lab work he initially ordered was just the bare minimum. I had to push for additional tests, like vitamin D and B levels, that should have been considered in an evaluation for someone my age. I received my results well before he called-two weeks later-with vague, generic advice. He recommended vitamin D and red yeast rice for my borderline high LDL but failed to mention the potential side effects of red yeast rice, which acts like a statin. When I asked how much vitamin D to take, his response was simply standard, which was unhelpful and nonspecific. In todays world, where medical information is readily accessible, doctors need to do more than just go through the motions. Patients are more informed than ever, and we expect thoughtful, up-to-date, and personalized care. A doctors role isnt just to check boxes but to engage with their patients in a meaningful way.

Didnt listen to our concerns. Didnt want or need changes in anything and he proceeded to make changes In medications regardless of our concerns. The only reason we were sent to his office is because our previous Physicians office no longer takes my insurance and would not accept self-pay. So, we chose this new Provider Physician hoping that he would be on board with status quo, listen and be compassionate and understanding. It was very disappointing. We are now looking for another Physician the visit went so poorly.

I was impressed that the Dr himself asked me about test results.. Spot on!!
