    • Corrie Ackerman is a certified physician assistant, who specializes in adult medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in health sciences from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, followed by a physician assistant program from Long Island University/The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York. Corrie serves the Dunedin community, as part of BayCare Medical Group, where she sees patients age 18 and older.

      She feels honored to share her passion and knowledge to help you make informed and educated choices that strengthen your body, mind and spirit. She provides comprehensive management of chronic conditions like COPD, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and obesity. For her, it’s not just about telling you what you should or shouldn’t be doing — it’s about getting to know you so she can better understand your questions, concerns and health goals. Corrie is also certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support and a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants and the Florida Association of Physician Assistants.
