    • Dr. C.R. Hall is board certified in general surgery and part of BayCare Medical Group Gessler Clinic in Winter Haven, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He completed a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky, then earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Hall continued his medical education by completing a general surgery residency at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, followed by a minimally invasive and bariatric surgery fellowship. Dr. Hall specializes in bariatric surgery and is the medical director for Winter Haven Hospital’s nationally accredited metabolic and weight loss surgery program. The Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) accreditation recognizes the program for its comprehensive nature, adherence to high clinical standards and continuous quality improvement. In additional to weight loss surgery, Dr. Hall performs all manners of general surgery with expertise in minimally invasive/robotic assisted surgery for repair of hernias, treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), colon and rectal surgery for cancer, as well as gallbladder removal. Dr. Hall also offers all types of upper and lower GI endoscopy such as colonoscopies and esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD). He is affiliated with Winter Haven Hospital.
