- Claudia Turenne is an advanced practice registered nurse with the hospitalist program of St. Joseph’s Hospital-South. She provides only inpatient care within a hospital setting and is not available for appointments. She will be responsible for you and your loved one’s well-being while in our hospital and will partner with your primary care physician to assist on any necessary follow-up information that will assure a smooth transition once you return safely to your home. Claudia received an undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, then she earned her graduate degree with a concentration as an adult nurse practitioner. She can diagnose, manage and treat both acute and chronic conditions, gather personal medical histories, order labs and conduct discharge planning of discharged patients. She strives to provide quality care with the highest level of professionalism for all her patients.
