Chelsea Smith is a board-certified physician assistant and is with BayCare Medical Group in Tampa, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, and a Master of Medical Science in physician assistant studies from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. Chelsea has a background in cardiothoracic surgery, with clinical interests in cardiac and thoracic surgeries, aortic aneurysm repair and aortic dissection repair. She performs physical exams to assess patients’ health, makes diagnoses and educates patients and their families, offering a wide range of health care services under physician supervision. Chelsea is certified in advanced cardiovascular life support and basic life support. She’s a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.
