He had an accident where his lower extremities were shaking- seizure like, but only waist down- his BP & heart rate were high, dizzy and lightheaded. He had OJ and things balanced. It was like a hypoglycemic episode. We called, they got us in same day, students and techs asked a ton of questions, urine test was done. He is not diabetic, which is wonderful. My issue comes in that that was the end of the conversation- the student heard something in his lungs and saw something in his ear. Dr. Marasco listened and said I dont know what youre hearing because theres nothing there. Then checked his ear and said check again, maybe you were looking at the wrong spot. She kind of laughed at her which made me feel bad for her. The next day my son was worse, went back to ER pneumonia and ear infection. If Dr. Marasco listened to her student we could have had answers sooner. This was the second time something serious was going on with my son to have it blown off. He was experiencing restless leg, tossing into walls, not sleeping for months. She sent him for a sleep study where they said to give him melatonin which was enough to let him sleep so she said just keep giving that to him. It turned out he was having a terrible reaction to his anxiety medication which was causing elevated cholesterol, insomnia, and a couple other things but if it doesnt fit in a basic box she treats you like you are a hypochondriac. All I want is for my son to be okay8/5/2024 | BayCare Verified PatientCare provider and Resident were both great and attentive.5/15/2024 | BayCare Verified PatientThey were professional, friendly, helpful and knowledge.10/25/2023 | BayCare Verified PatientWe always love our experiences when we come to this practice9/21/2023 | BayCare Verified PatientIt was great to work with a Dr shadowing our main Dr it felt like it was very thorough as both Dr looked over my daughter for her annual check up
