Dr. Cameron Kemal is board certified in internal medicine and cardiac echocardiography, and serves with BayCare Medical Group in Clearwater, Florida, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Italian Studies from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, followed by his Doctor of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York where he graduated with recognition by the AOA national medical honor society. Dr. Kemal continued his medical education by completing an internship and residency at New York Presbyterian-Columbia University Medical Center in New York, New York where he received recognition for his compassionate care. He then completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at New York University Langone Medical Center, also in in New York City.
Dr. Kemal’s clinical interests include transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, vascular medicine, nuclear cardiology, and stress testing. He is also certified in vascular ultrasonography. He has a particular interest in the management of patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and patients with valvular heart disease. He is a diligent, non-invasive cardiologist who is dedicated to his patients and passionate about providing quality, patient-centered health care. He is proficient in Spanish and fluent in Italian and is affiliated with Morton Plant Hospital and Mease Dunedin Hospital.
