    • Dr. Benston Johnson is a concerned and attentive internist serving the community of New Port Richey, Florida for BayCare Medical Group, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He earned his medical degree at the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospital. Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is fluent in English and Spanish as well.

      Dr. Johnson is sensitive to the uniqueness of each patient's situation and adapts his consultations and treatment options appropriately to accommodate individual needs and concerns. Per the physician’s protocol, he does not write prescriptions for controlled substances which include pain medication, sleeping aides or anxiety medication.
