Dr. Bansi Savla is board certified in radiation oncology and is with BayCare Medical Group in Clearwater, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida and completed a radiation oncology residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Savla’s clinical interests include the treatment of head and neck, thoracic, and gynecologic malignancies, as well as palliative radiotherapy. Some of her research interests include studying the social determinants of health in cancer care; the implementation of equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives in radiation oncology; as well as management of gynecologic malignancies with high-dose-rate (HDR) brachytherapy. She is a member of the Society for Women in Radiation Oncology, the American Association for Women in Radiology, the American Society of Clinical of Oncology, the American Society for Radiation Oncology, the American Association for Cancer Research, the American College of Physicians and the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology. She is affiliated with BayCare Morton Plant Hospital.
