When the Dr came in, he kept asking, What are you here for. I replied that I was referred by my Dr to go over MRI results and kept getting the exact same question again, probably like 5 times, it was almost comical, I was in disbelief. What are YOU here for I then said my main concern is my hands, I have been to so many doctors lately trying to diagnose morning pain and stiffness and skin issues on my hands. My referring Dr thought that maybe it could have been something wrong with my spine and pinched nerves since my MRI came back with issues. He told me that it was probably carpal tunnel and I needed to go to a neurologist. I still dont know what my MRI results mean and have turned to AI and self diagnosis until I can make an appointment with another spinal doctor. He did say my spine was fine although I was sent in to go over imaging results that my general dr saw me first for. Maybe my referring Dr sent me to wrong type of specialist but I felt like this was the biggest waste of my time and money. I also felt like he was making it quite apparent that I was wasting his time. Anyways, after doing research with my MRI results, I started doing some exercises and I slept on a cervical pillow last night and woke up with less finger pain than I have for a year since it started. I also dont understand way I had to put on a gown since he didnt evaluated my neck or spine at all. He made it obvious that he was too busy for answering my questions because I wasnt in severe pain. I just wanted to go over my MRI, like my Dr sent me in to do and see if it could be my spine that was causing the issues in my hands, which I suspect that it is.
