Outstanding provider

My experience with Dr. Moreno was not so great. He didnt take the time to speak with me about what was really going on, what Ive done to combat it, and how the pain has really impeded on my normal everyday life. Dr. Moreno also didnt do any physical exam or anything of that natural, and instead disregarded the pain of my condition. My husband and I tried to ask several questions to get a deeper understanding as to why his opinion differed from several other medical professionals that have evaluated me, and he came off as very combative and defensive.

Dr. Moreno was everything I needed for my problem. He was sympathetic to the pain I was going through and went over options for care. I remember him saying Im here for you. If you need an injection just come back and see me.

Dr. Moreano and his PA had two different discussions about my treatment. Also I was not told all of my options and what the outcome may look like. It was very one sided and then had a paper handed to me that discusses the treatment and was told to schedule. Seemed very rushed and was not told what is wrong and why I am in so much pain.

Dr. Moreno was rushed, and couldnt read the MRI because it was an open on vs a closed one. I get that, but atleast explain what my issues could be, he didnt look at the X-ray or any of the medical notes that I brought.

I paid hundreds of dollars for my appointment, but never got to see the doctor. Someone else did my consultation. I had research this doctor throughly, and was expecting to see him. I left more confused than before the appointment. But the staff was excellent otherwise.

Dr. Moreno gets an A+ for this initial appointment. I immediately felt 100% comfortable with this provider in every aspect of the interaction. He seemed like a very bright, competent, and knowledgeable physician, which helped put me at ease. He was very professional, but at the same time, he was also caring and kind. He listened patiently as I provided information about the issue I was there to address. I did not feel at all rushed, nor did I get the impression his time was limited due to a tight schedule packed with back-to-back appointments for a long list of patients. He took his time and he was very thorough, asking a wide range of questions as he considered the potential cause of my issue, and the course of action needed to verify what he suspected. Unfortunately, he suspected the problem might be neurological, which is the type of news no one wants to hear. However, he advised me of his suspicion in a very supportive and gentle manner, which made the news a little easier to hear. I was also somewhat reassured when he told me he would do everything possible to help me address the physical issues that led me to contact his office in the first place.

Dr. Moreno is easy to talk to, very compassionate with my diagnosis, and explained everything so that I could understand it. He also took time to field my questions!

Provider didnt tell anything about my MRI (I presented my own copy before the appointment) Provider got angry when I asked questions or needed clarification on procedures he had barely mentioned to me. Provider was rude and arrogant. Hes not compassionate at all. He even told me hes neither a pain doctor nor a medicine doctor. He asked me if I wanted to talk to Jennifer when I had the faintest idea of who she was. All of a sudden, he cut and ran.

Came in for a follow up after mri and X-ray. Did not show me results or really tell me anything that I didnt already know. Did not address the problem I came in for. Will not help after a mistake on office end with my insurance.
