Doctor Bio
Dr. Angel Docobo is board certified in general surgery and serves the Tampa, Florida community as part of BayCare Medical Group, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in natural sciences and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Florida College of Medicine (USF) in Tampa. He completed an internship and residency in general surgery at USF affiliated hospitals, where he served as chief resident in general surgery and clinical assistant professor of surgery.
Dr. Docobo has previously served as Director of Trauma Services at St. Joseph’s Hospital. His clinical interests include parathyroid, breast, and biliary tract surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Docobo is fluent in Spanish.
