    • Amy Guttenberger is a hospitalist with Morton Plant Hospital. She provides only inpatient care within a hospital setting and is not available for appointments. She will be responsible for you and your loved one’s care while in our hospital and will partner with your primary care physician on any necessary follow-up care to assist with your continued care, once you return to your home. Amy is board certified as an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner. She displays an exceptional aptitude to deliver positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment, while simultaneously building productive relationships. Amy has the ability to lead and motivate and is known for exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, as well as maintaining accurate and efficient documentation. She completed an undergraduate degree in nursing from Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan, followed by her graduate degree in nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is a member of the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the American Nurses Association and the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nursing Association.
