    • Dr. Ammar Jesri is board certified in internal medicine and provides only inpatient care within a hospital setting and is not available for appointments. He is a hypertension specialist designated by the American Society of Hypertension. Dr. Jesri earned his Doctor of Medicine from Allepo University in Allepo, Syria, and completed a Clinical Research Fellowship in hypertension through the Medical University of South Carolina Teaching Hospitals in Charleston. He continued his training through the internal medicine residency program at St. Francis Hospital in Trenton, New Jersey through Seton Hall University School of Graduate Medical Education. Prior to joining BayCare Medical Group, Dr. Jesri served as a hospitalist for several years at Pioneer Valley Hospital and Jordan Valley Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has published several articles about metabolic syndrome and hypertension. is clinical interests include Metabolic Syndrome, hypertension, and preventive cardiology. Dr. Jesri is fluent in Arabic.
