    • Dr. Amir Fahmi is a hospitalist with Morton Plant North Bay Hospital. He provides only inpatient care within a hospital setting and is not available for appointments. He will be responsible for you and your loved one’s care while in our hospital and will partner with your primary care physician on any necessary follow-up care to assist with your continued care, once you return to your home. Dr. Fahmi is board certified in internal medicine. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York, New York. He then completed his medical education with an internship and residency in internal medicine at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida. Dr. Fahmi speaks Arabic and basic Spanish and is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the American Osteopathic Association. He works primarily out of Morton Plant North Bay Hospital.
