Dr. Ami Shah specializes in rheumatology and is with BayCare Medical Group in Tampa, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Medicine in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, and completed an internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at HCA Bayonet Point/University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Hudson, Florida.
Dr. Shah focuses on diagnosing and treating conditions that cause inflammation in the joints, muscles, bones and internal organs. She treats scleroderma and related disorders and manages complications such as arthritis, osteoarthritis, digital ischemia, pulmonary hypertension, cardiac dysfunction, myopathy, aggressive skin disease and gout. Dr. Shah is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the American Medical Association. She’s affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital.
