    • Amber Welch is a certified physician assistant, specializing in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, serving the Clearwater area for BayCare Medical Group. She completed her undergraduate degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point in West Point, New York, followed by a graduate degree in physician assistant studies from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. Amber is a former member of the United States Army, having served as a Civil Affairs officer. As a physician assistant, she is trained in the evaluation, diagnosis, management, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
