Alyssa M. Thurber, APRN

Alyssa Thurber is an advanced practice registered nurse and is with BayCare Medical Group in Largo, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, and completed a Master of Science in nursing, specializing as a family nurse practitioner, from South University in Tampa. Alyssa performs physical exams, interprets diagnostic tests, advises patients about treatment options and plans and helps them manage acute illnesses and chronic diseases. She treats the whole person, recognizes that health is shaped by many factors and fosters strong patient relationships. Alyssa is certified in advanced cardiovascular life support and basic life support.
