Alyssa R. Putzel, APRN

Alyssa Putzel is an advanced practice registered nurse serving the St. Petersburg area as part of BayCare Medical Group, where she sees patients ages 6 and older. She earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Florida, then commissioned into the United States Navy Nurse Corps where she served on active duty for more than 5 years. She continues to serve the Navy in a reserve capacity. Alyssa furthered her education by earning a Doctor of Nursing Practice with a concentration in family practice from University of Michigan-Flint in Flint, Michigan, and continues to be dedicated to lifelong learning. Alyssa is known for providing high quality, evidence-based health care across the lifespan. She is dedicated to working collaboratively with patients and families to meet their goals and achieve optimal health. Alyssa is skilled in preventive care, minor procedures and managing acute and chronic conditions. She has a comprehensive background in patient centered medical home, family and urgent care, critical care and pediatrics.
