Allison Portillo is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and is with BayCare Medical Group in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She completed a Bachelor of Science in nursing from St. Petersburg College, School of Nursing in St. Petersburg, Florida, and received a Master of Science in nursing as a family nurse practitioner from the University of Tampa, School of Nursing in Tampa, Florida. Allison’s clinical interests include the treatment of bladder and prostate cancer, benign prostatic hyperplasia, overactive bladder, urinary tract infections and kidney stone disease. She cares for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a wide range of urologic conditions. Allison emphasizes disease prevention and education, helping patients better understand their health and treatment options. She’s certified in basic life support. Allison is a member of the American Urologic Association and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
