I loved my previous doctor who left. Ever since I was required to switch to this doctor I have had continuous issues with prescriptions. I find this doctor extremely cold and dismissive of my health concerns. I will be looking for a new doctor.

Dr. Davenport is by far the best primary care physician that Ive ever had in my life, and that says a lot since Im now 64 years old. Shes very thorough. She always has my medical records with her, And always spends so much time with me to review all of my various diagnosises. Shes a wonderful Physician and BayCare should be proud to have her on the BayCare team!

Dr. Davenport is very thorough and comprehensive in explaining the issue and any treatments prescribed. She is very willing to listen to your feedback and take that in to consideration to consider alternatives. She is a very good medical treatment manager, meaning she will continually monitor, check, and assess your condition and continually manage it; not just prescribe a treatment or medication for it and assume that corrects it. She works with you.

I think Dr. Davenport is a great doctor and I am glad to be under her care.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Davenport and I was extremely pleased with my check up and visit with her. She was very thorough and knowledgeable and clearly understood my medical issues and outlined a plan to manage them and mitigate them. She listened to my concerns and was very willing to make any adjustments as required based on my progress and when my next LAB results come back which wont be until end of April. But she already had several ideas in mind to recommend as a pre-emptive measure in case. She was very easy going and a pleasure to deal with. She exuded confidence and explained questions I had in the right amount of detail that helped me clearly understand.

I come all the way from lake wales to see doctor Davenport. She literally helped save my life. She got me referred to bariatric surgery and got me on the correct medications to keep my fluid under control. She is the best primary care I have ever had.

I was referred to a specialist for my shoulder - they referred me to a doctor who doesnt even specialize in shoulders. I rectified this, let Dr Davenport know and provided her the information and they never sent the referral or my MRI results. Very frustrating!!!

Vey caring and understanding

Once my vitals were taken, I waited over an hour for the doctor to come - no one stopped by to tell me there was a delay or to check in. Granted the apologized once she arrived, but that was over an hour later.

She is great! No notes!

Dr. Davenport is one of the best doctors Ive had in a very long time, she just forgot to go over the results of my echocardiogram w/ me. After she left the exam room I remembered this and so I asked the assistant if she could please get Dr. Davenport back in to see me to go over those results. This was very important to me because I was recently admitted into TGH for heart palpitations and the doctor at the hospital ordered an echo. Dr. Davenport relayed the message to me that she was unable to come back to go over the results w/ me, as she was already seeing her next pt. Her assistant told me that if there was anything concerning, that they would call me. I also asked her if she could make sure that the application from Astra-Zeneca (aka: AZ &ME) for the refill of my 6-month supply of Farxiga med (for diabetes) was filled out & signed off and sent back to them. If is not, I will get my Farxiga in the mail. This has happened numerous times at BayCare, even before I was Dr. Davenports pt. This is why I bring it up. She said if they received it, it will be taken care of, but it never is unless I call numerous times and make sure its done. AZ &ME said that it was not completely filled out and/or they could not read her handwriting & therefore they refused to fill it (I mentioned this her).

Dr. Davenport took plenty of time to talk with me, answer any questions I had, and give advice. She was clear that everything was her medical opinion, but never pushed me in any direction (all decisions were up to me). It is so rare, yet very refreshing, to find a doctor like this who respects patent knowledge about themselves and patient autonomy.
