    • Dr. Alicia Waters received her undergraduate degree and medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She completed a general surgery residency at UAB, followed by a pediatric surgery fellowship at Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham. She is board-certified in general surgery and board-eligible in pediatric surgery. Dr. Waters diagnoses, treats and manages a variety of surgical needs from newborn to young adulthood. Her clinical interests encompass all aspects of pediatric surgery including congenital abnormalities, neonatal surgery, tumors, and minimally invasive surgery. She has contributed numerous publications to peer-reviewed journals and is an active member of the American Pediatric Surgical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Waters serves the communities of Tampa, Florida for BayCare Medical Group and is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital.
