Alexa Friedfertig is a certified physician assistant and is with BayCare Medical Group in Safety Harbor, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She received a Bachelor of Science in biology from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida, and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from South University in Tampa, Florida. Alexa’s clinical interests include chronic disease management and individualized cardiac care planning. She works closely with patients and their families to help them understand heart conditions, medications, lifestyle changes and post-procedure care to support long-term health. Her medical philosophy centers on collaborative, patient-focused care, emphasizing patient education and shared decision-making.
