Dr. Ahmad Shaker was totally familiar with the history of my case, going back to my colon resection In March 2018 in New Jersey, the annual follow-up colonoscopies there and here in Florida, and the follow-up blood test and imagery results, including those he prescribed for me scheduled for August (2023) just prior to this visit. He spent several minutes those results (which were on the whole very good) and gave me a little advice about one or two slight deviations from the normal. Dr. Shaker also reconfirmed that I would not need another colonoscopy in the future. I have much confidence in his knowledge, experience, and professionalism.

Initial cancer apptmt. Got me right in next day, had all my records, went thru my complicated history with me thoroughly & asked questions, called my surgeon 2 xs to discuss my case. Was extremely kind, patient, shared LOTS of knowledge so I understood my cancer.Best Dr ever!! In showing concern, answering s FULLY In simple terms. Left feeling happy & hopeful despite my prognosis. Lifted my depression (my previous onocologist was an extremely poor communicator & acted like he didnt care...making feel Prognosis., scared & very depressed) knowing I was under his care & he was such a devoted, kind, & brilliant Dr. Heard nothing but good things about Dr. Shaker. It was a very positive experience. Dr Shaker was informed, helpful and fun. He scheduled a test to make sure the blood clots that had been in my arm were dissolved. They were and I received the info quickly, with good results.

Dr Shaker was very thorough and patient in explaining my diagnosis with compassion.

Dr. Shaker saved my life. He made me feel comfortable and confident in receiving chemo therapy even though I had told myself I would never accept chemo before I knew I needed it. Dr. Shaker exhibits thorough knowledge of his field and is constantly learning more. Hes respectful of his patients wishes and doesnt push pills (which is a huge deal for me.)

Dr. Shaker was professional and acknowledged lack of experience with my form of cancer, and its treatment. Considering basal cell metastasis is rare, I completely understood.
