    • Dr. Adria Cooks is board certified in internal medicine and hospice and palliative medicine. As a palliative medicine provider with Morton Plant North Bay Hospital, she provides only inpatient care within a hospital setting and she is not available for appointments. Dr. Cooks will be responsible for palliative care while you’re in our hospital and will partner with your primary care physician on any necessary follow-up care to assist with your continued care. Dr. Cooks received her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her internal medicine internship and residency were completed at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Prior to medical school, Dr. Cooks received a Masters in Public Health at the University of South Florida. She holds a hospice medical director certification and has been serving the community for over 10 years providing hospice and palliative care services. She is a member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
