Dr. Adam Befeler is board certified in neurological surgery and is with BayCare Medical Group in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he sees patients age 14 and older. He earned a Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers University/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and completed a neurosurgical internship and residency at the University of Tennessee/Semmes-Murphey Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Befeler performs a variety of surgical procedures of the brain, spine and peripheral nervous system, and specializes in treating complex diseases of the spine. He collaborates with his patients to arrive at the best possible treatment option for each one. Dr. Befeler is a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. He’s affiliated with St. Anthony’s Hospital.
