Meghna Kumar-Pelayo, MD

Dr. Meghna Kumar-Pelayo is a board-certified neurologist, with specialty training in epilepsy and electroencephalography (EEG). She is part of BayCare Medical Group in St. Petersburg, Florida where she sees patients age 18 and older. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Saba University School of Medicine in The Bottom, Saba. Dutch Caribbean. She then completed an internal medicine internship at New York Medical College Metropolitan Hospital in New York, New York an adult neurology residency from Hofstra, North Shore-Long Island Jewish School of Medicine in Manhasset, New York and then a clinical neurophysiology, epilepsy/EEG fellowship from Univeristy Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Kumar-Pelayo's clinical interests include epilepsy, EEG and general neurology. She belongs to the American Epilepsy Society and the American Academy of Neurology. She speaks Hindi and Spanish and is affiliated with St. Anthony's Hospital.
