Mary R. De Sena, MD

Dr. Mary De Sena is board certified in family medicine and a part of BayCare Medical Group Gessler Clinic in Winter Haven, where she sees patients age 5 and older. She holds a Bachelor of Science in zoology from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. She completed medical school at University of Florida College of Medicine, and residency training in family medicine at Shands AGH in Gainesville. Dr. De Sena strives to have a patient-centered approach to proving care. Her clinical interests are health maintenance, geriatrics, cardiovascular health, and diabetes management. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is affiliated with Winter Haven Hospital.
