Dr. Olivia D’Angelo is board certified in general surgery and is a member of BayCare Medical Group in Bartow, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and completed a general surgery residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami in Miami, Florida.
Dr. D’Angelo performs a variety of general surgical procedures on skin and soft tissue masses, acute care surgery, mastectomy, cholecystectomy, anorectal procedures, and repairing ventral and inguinal hernias using comprehensive laparoscopic, endoscopic and robotic techniques. She has a special interest in caring for women who have breast cancer. Dr. D’Angelo has published numerous articles to peer-reviewed publications, including Frontiers in Oncology and Breast Cancer Research and Treatment. She’s certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. Dr. D’Angelo is a member of the American College of Surgeons. She’s affiliated with Bartow Regional Medical Center.
