BayCare Pediatrics Residency Program
Program Overview
BayCare's pediatrics residency program is accredited to accept eight residents per year, and is based out of St. Joseph's Children's Hospital in Tampa, FL. Our residency program is community-care focused, and will provide much needed services to children and their families in multiple locations throughout West Central Florida.
By joining BayCare, you open the door not only to an exceptional medical training experience, but also the opportunity for a fulfilling career across our statewide network of top-performing, not-for-profit hospitals and out-patient centers. As a new program, there'll be many opportunities to be innovative. Program leadership welcomes new ideas for program design, structure, and continuous improvement.
Most of my career has been spent as an educator. Medical students and residents continuously inspire me. There is a feeling of immense joy and pride when observing a resident reach their full potential as a pediatrician---their success becomes our program’s success. Our program goal is to build a team of teachers and learners where we educate, learn from and inspire each other.
