How should I prepare for my visit to a BayCare Laboratories patient service center?
Check with your physician for instructions regarding any necessary test preparations. If you need to fast, don’t eat or drink anything other than water for 10 to 12 hours before your test. You may brush your teeth.
So that your test date goes smoothly:- You need to have a written or electronic physician order.
- Bring your health insurance card.
- Be prepared to provide a urine sample if your physician has ordered one.
- Wear loose-fitting or short-sleeved clothing.
Our patient service centers are busiest from opening until 10am. Unless you’re required to fast, it’s best to schedule your visit for off-peak hours.
