Sleep Disorders

According to the National Sleep Foundation, women are more likely than men to experience trouble falling asleep and/or staying asleep. They are also more prone to daytime fatigue. However, feeling sleepy isn't the only consequence of not getting enough sleep. A lack of rest can lead to reduced productivity, accidents, or even sickness and weight gain. The BayCare Sleep Disorders Centers treat a wide range of sleep disorders, including insomnia, obstructive sleep apnea, central sleep apnea, narcolepsy, shift work disorder, snoring, restless leg syndrome and a variety of other sleep disorders.
