Ace School Physicals

Summer vacation is coming to an end. And fast. As a parent, you’ve got lots of details, tasks and things to firm up as your kids head back to school. And one of those might be to get your child a physical. For many schools, it’s a necessity. In fact, if you’ve moved here from another state, Florida law requires that new students in kindergarten through the 12th grade must have had a physical exam within the past 12 months. The results of the exam need to be brought to your child’s school when you take them to be enrolled.

If you need an appointment immediately, BayCare Urgent Care can help. Take your kids to a BayCare Urgent Care center for their school physical. • Vitals, ear, nose, throat, lungs, heart and abdomen 
• Joints, flexibility, reflexes, strength and posture, and look for abnormalities such as scoliosis and hernias

We’ll also record your child’s medical history of illnesses, symptoms and surgeries. In addition to school physicals, BayCare Urgent Care also provides sports physicals for participation on school sports teams.
