Split Polysomnography (Split Sleep Study)

A split polysomnogram (sleep study) uses both a diagnostic and CPAP titration study in the same night. The first half of the night determines if the child has sleep apnea. During the second part of the study, the child is titrated on PAP therapy to determine optimal pressure needed to treat sleep disordered breathing. A split polysomnography requires a doctor referral.
